VELOCETTE KTT 1935
In 1905 Joh Goodman (born Johannes Gütgemann, later known as John Taylor) and William Gue founded motorcycle company Taylor, Gue Ltd. Their first motorcycle was called Veloce which then became the name of their company. Veloce Ltd’s first 2 stroke was produced in 1913 and baptised Velocette, the name they would use for every subsequent model produced. The K series started in 1925 with an overhead camshaft (OHC) 350 cc engine. Successively the original series received some slight modifications, namely a throttle-controlled oil pump and the single cylinder motorcycle found success in such races like the Isle of Man TT.
